Integrations

Connect your knowledge sources — via OAuth or API key — and keep your private vector database up to date. Start with your highest-impact sources and expand over time.

How integrations work

Integrations ingest content from your sources (docs, FAQs, tickets, procedures), transform it into searchable chunks, and index it into your dedicated vector database. When users ask questions, Anserve retrieves the most relevant passages before answering (RAG).

Typical setup

  1. Select sources (e.g., Confluence + phpMyFAQ + Freshdesk)
  2. Define what to include (spaces, folders, categories)
  3. Index and validate answer quality
  4. Schedule updates (manual or automated)

Supported content types

Common formats include web pages, PDFs, office documents, FAQs, knowledge base articles and structured helpdesk content. The goal is consistent answers grounded in your official sources.

(Beta) connectors are newly added and still being validated in production — available to configure, with our team on hand during setup. (Planned) connectors are on our roadmap and not yet available.

Coming next: Actions

Sources bring information in — Actions let Anserve reach out and do something. The Actions module is coming next: checking an order status, booking an appointment, or sending an email, triggered directly from a conversation, with visitor confirmation before anything is executed. See Features for the full roadmap.

Integration FAQ

Yes — start with the most trusted source (FAQ/procedures) and expand later.

That depends on your connector and preference. Many teams begin manual and move to scheduled updates.
